Library News

Goals in Blog Challenge
Writing was never my forte. My goal in this challenge is to become a better writer. My writing skills are not the best . There are many resources online to use to improve my skills. By the end of this challenge I am hoping to accomplish this. The strongest habit of the 71/2 habits of mine is by fair accepting responsiblity for my own learning. But I do put pressure on myself and not always confident that I have accomplished the task successfully, getting better as the years go by. This takes me to my weakest challenge of viewing problems as challenges. I really hope to overcome this by having fun with learning something that I have never ever did before. Up until now I am really have fun with this and hope to continue through the 23 steps.

Fitness and Exercise - My passions of life

After smoking 2 and one half packs of cigarettes a day and bronchitis that I could not shake I decided that this was not for me. The desire to quit was not even a thought until the day I did. The weight gain was no better than the smoking, the pounds piled on and the blood pressure rose. It was time to make a change. I decided to walk. That was the day my life changed forever. The walking was good but wasn't enough. Staff members from the library decided to join the gym and I did also. 12 years later I am still working out and also have made the gym my second home. I work at the gym part-time and have many friendships their as well. I have to say that life has sure changed for me. I am an avid exerciser, indoors and out and love every bit of it. Something I never thought I would do. You too can do this. Stay tuned to helpful tips and becoming healthly with exercise and eating when you to once thought - its not only a dream, it can become real for you too!
